Launched in 2003, EDIDA is a unique international event where 25 editors-in-chief of the ELLE DECORATION international network gather to award global excellence in design in 13 categories.
Reddot Award 2018
The Red Dot Award for product design has roots dating back as far as 1955 and determines the best products created each year. In 2018, designers and manufacturers from 59 countries submitted more than 6,300 objects to the competition. True to the motto “In search of good design and innovation”, a jury comprising of roughly 40 members, assessed the products individually based on the original. The strict judging criteria, which include level of innovation, functionality, formal quality, ergonomics and durability, provide a frame of reference that the jurors then complement with their own expertise.

Tailwater Collection
An elegant faucet Tailwater from the brand Artize of the Jaquar Group company was awarded the prestigious design award Red Dot Design Award 2018. Tailwater fits perfectly into the concept of Artize - a brand that embodies luxury and technology in the design of bathrooms.Inspired by nature and the elegant, fluid lines of contemporary architecture, Tailwater is a striking and iconic piece of bathroom fitting – a new, minimalist design classic. It looks like abstract image of a bird sitting on the edge of the pool. Handle and spout are one. The lever and spout are united in a single friendly form, which is simple and enjoyable to use.
Tiaara Collection
TiaaraTiaara is like jewellery for the bathroom. A unique combination of effortless functionality within a stunning form. Designed like a piece of jewellery with echoing ovals, Tiaara is a faucet that brings a unique sculptural quality to a commonplace function and elevates its usage into a memorable experience.Michael Foley - The founder of a unique multi-disciplinary design studio said, “The concept brings a sense of mystique to the idea of a faucet. The concentric rings originate from the play of echoing ripples of water and give the faucet a unique sense of mystique. The inner ring swings to give access to running water and seamlessly stops without spilling a drop when swung back.”
Linea Collection
The Linea collection, crafted by Artize, is awarded the iF Design Award 2014, and it is still being loved by many till today. Turning on and off Linea’s mixer is simply done through a graceful swinging motion. Linea’s multi-purpose spout pivots to form an arc that controls the temperature of water along its curve. Its intelligent design keeps the water at the centre of the wash basin away from the brim.Linea's striking design feature is the graceful swinging motion of its spout, which also acts as its on/off mechanism.
Parichay Mehra - Spearheading the design team at Jaquar Group, indicated: "Design that enables feather touch movement, Linea is a strikingly simple design that is shaped like a rectangular bar with operational motion also limited to a single direction. Design simplified to the largest extent that eliminates every unnecessary layer between the user and the experience of the product."
