Tailwater Collections

An elegant faucet Tailwater from the brand Artize of the Jaquar Group company was awarded the prestigious design award Red Dot Design Award 2018. Manufacturers and designers around the world get the reward for outstanding achievements in the design of consumer products.

Tailwater fits perfectly into the concept of Artize - a brand that embodies luxury and technology in the design of bathrooms.
Tailwater was created for Jaquar’s premium Artize range by the London-based Danelon Meroni design studio, and combines sleek lines inspired in the natural world with expertly-engineered industrial design.

Tailwater Collection - What Make a Masterpiece?

Inspired by nature and elegant lines of modern architecture, Tailwater is an outstanding and recognizable faucet model. It looks like abstract image of a bird sitting on the edge of the pool. Handle and spout are one. The lever and spout are united in a single friendly form, which is simple and enjoyable to use. The reflective surface of the faucet is smooth, which gives the impression that the product is made of liquid metal.

"Tail" of the bird acts as a mixing lever, smoothly moving back and to the right and left. Extensively prototyped and finally tuned for ergonomic comfort, function and aesthetics design is easy to use: it provides excellent mobility, functionality and stunning appearance. Tailwater seems to call for a touch. When titled backwards, the tap’s form is transformed into a graceful silver arc. Tailwater is available in silver, copper, bronze, matt black and matte white colors.

The faucet is created by the British studio DanelonMeroni, which works on anthropocentric design and cooperates with large international companies. Their collections for interiors were presented at major international exhibitions and widely known among the foreign media. But most importantly - hundreds of thousands of people around the world use their creations every day!

The Red Dot Award

The Red Dot Award for product design has roots dating back as far as 1955 and determines the best products created each year. In 2018, designers and manufacturers from 59 countries submitted more than 6,300 objects to the competition. True to the motto “In search of good design and innovation”, a jury comprising of roughly 40 members, assessed the products individually based on the original. The strict judging criteria, which include level of innovation, functionality, formal quality, ergonomics and durability, provide a frame of reference that the jurors then complement with their own expertise.

“This is arguably the world’s most important award for product design, and this year attracted entries from 6,300 products from 59 countries for judging by the 39-member jury. It is a significant achievement that the Tailwater tap has been honoured.”
